ABOUT KATHLEEN BECKMAN

Biographical

Kathleen Beckman, an international evangelist, and renown author of several books is the President and Co-Founder of the Foundation of Prayer for Priests, an apostolate founded in 2013 with encouragement of the Vatican’s Dicastery of the Clergy. Please visit www.foundationforpriests.org for information on spiritual motherhood for priests. She is also a Dame in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.

A dynamic speaker, and Ignatian retreat director, Kathleen has addressed laity, clergy, and religious sisters in thirteen countries. She frequently evangelizes on Catholic radio and television and is a featured writer for several Catholic publications.

Sophia Institute Press publishes her five books including, (2013) “Praying for Priests”, (2015) “God’s Healing Mercy”, (2017) “When Women Pray”, (2020) “A Family Guide to Spiritual Warfare”, (2023) “Beautiful Holiness: A Spiritual Journey with Blessed Conchita to the Heart of Jesus”.

Kathleen is a cradle Catholic, a wife and mother who once busied herself in the secular world, working in the medical field and then starting a business with her husband. Then, in 1994, a religious sister invited her to join the Board of Directors of the Catholic medical clinic, and to lead a pilgrimage to Lourdes, France. There, Kathleen experienced a radical conversion of heart through graces from Mary and the Eucharist. Returning home, her life became wholly devoted to the Eucharist, spiritual formation and serving the Lord.

Clergy invited her to help start a Magnificat Chapter in her diocese, and to assist in the diocesan healing and deliverance ministry. Then, the co-founders of the Pope Leo XIII Institute (for priests in formation for exorcism ministry) invited Kathleen to serve on faculty of the Institute hosted at Mundelein Seminary, Chicago. In 2017, Kathleen completed the Association of International Exorcists course at the Pontifical Regina Apostolorum University in Rome. Presently, she serves as the diocesan lay administrator of deliverance ministry and is a member of the exorcist’s team.

Kathleen joyfully bears witness to the healing power of Divine Mercy and proclaims Christ victory over sin and evil.
